Home How it works

From first email to the flight home

A standard case takes two to four weeks from first contact to treatment, and 14–21 days in China. Here is exactly what happens, in order, and what we need from you.

  1. 01

    Initial consultation and health assessment

You send your records; a coordinator reviews them with a specialist and comes back with options. Free, no obligation.

    • 1–2 days
    • Free of charge

What we need from you A short description of the condition, discharge summaries, imaging reports and the most recent lab results. PDF or photos are both fine; we will translate them.

  2. 02

    Medical and travel plan

A written plan: which hospital, which specialist, what the treatment involves, how long you stay, and what it costs.

    • 3–5 days
    • Written cost breakdown

What we need from you Your preferred dates, how many people travel with you, and any budget limit — so the plan is workable rather than ideal on paper.

  3. 03

    Arrangements and pre-departure

Appointments booked, records sent to the treating physician in advance, visa invitation letter issued, hotel and airport transfer arranged.

    • One week before departure
    • Visa invitation letter

What we need from you Passport details for the visa paperwork, and confirmation of the deposit for bookings that need to be held.

  4. 04

    Treatment in China

An English-speaking escort for every visit, hospital admissions handled, a coordinator reachable 24/7, family kept informed.

    • 14–21 days on average
    • 24/7 coordination

What we need from you Nothing. Bring your passport, your questions, and someone to take notes if you can.

  5. 05

    Return home and follow-up

Records, images and a treatment summary handed over to your doctor at home, with remote follow-up and medication guidance after you leave.

    • 3–6 months of remote follow-up
    • Full records handover

What we need from you The name and contact details of the doctor you want the records sent to.

Who is on your case

Medical coordinator

Your main contact. Reviews records, matches specialists, sits in on consultations and keeps the plan updated.

Travel concierge

Visas, flights, airport pickup, hotels near the hospital, SIM cards and anything else logistical.

Interpreter

With you in consultations, examinations and at admission; translates consent forms and discharge instructions.

Three things worth knowing up front

  • The hospitals, not us, decide on treatment. We coordinate; licensed physicians diagnose and treat. If a hospital says the trip is not advisable, we will tell you that.
  • Estimates are estimates. Hospital charges can change if the clinical picture changes during treatment. We flag what is fixed and what is not before you commit.
  • Bring your own medical history. Reports from your home doctors make the first assessment far more accurate than a description over chat.
